Courtney Schmidt, MSW, LGSW
I'm a licensed therapist passionate about helping kids, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s most challenging moments with courage and compassion. Many of the people I work with come to therapy seeking support for depression, anxiety, trauma, and co-occurring substance use concerns, struggling with the emotional, relational, and behavioral patterns. I also have experience supporting individuals facing performance-related stress, motivation challenges, and identity concerns connected to sports and athletics.
My approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive environment where you can explore what matters most to you. I prioritize building a strong, collaborative relationship where you feel seen, heard, and understood. From there, we tailor a mix of therapeutic approaches to fit your unique needs, because there’s no one-size-fits-all! I draw from evidence-based techniques while staying flexible and responsive to you.
You can expect a respectful, nonjudgmental space where we explore patterns, build skills, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right. Whether you’re dealing with persistent symptoms or navigating a life transition, I'd be honored to support you in finding resilience, clarity, and a sense of grounding.
