Jen Arland, MA, LADC
Taking the step to seek support is a powerful act of courage. Life transitions, persistent patterns, and overwhelm can leave us feeling disconnected from who we truly are. My goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space where you can slow down, connect to your intuition, and rediscover your innate resilience.
I believe that therapy is, first and foremost, a partnership. My approach is relational, deeply compassionate, and rooted in the understanding that you are the ultimate expert on your own life. Rather than viewing you through a lens of symptoms or diagnoses, we will look at the whole picture of who you are. Together, we will honor the ways you have survived, while gently challenging the patterns that no longer serve you, allowing you to move forward with a renewed sense of clarity and wholeness.
Every individual brings a unique story to the room. I specialize in working with a diverse range of clients, with particular focus and expertise in:
Trauma & Post-Traumatic Growth: Helping you safely process past experiences so they no longer dictate your present.
Addiction & Recovery: Navigating the complexities of substance use and behavioral patterns with zero judgment and deep empathy.
ADHD Support & Neurodivergence: Providing practical, affirming strategies to help you work with your brain rather than against it.
Women in Midlife: Guiding women navigating the unique, often overwhelming intersection of midlife transitions, hormonal shifts, including newly discovered or long-standing ADHD.
College Students: Supporting young adults through the high-stakes transitions, identity exploration, and academic pressures of university life.
Because no single approach fits everyone, I integrate evidence-based therapies and holistic frameworks to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. My practice is informed by:
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Exploring the different "parts" of your inner world to heal deeper emotional wounds.
Trauma-Informed Care: Ensuring safety, empowerment, and choice are at the center of every conversation.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Building concrete skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness.
“Your story matters, and you don’t have to carry it alone. Let's begin the work of restoring your peace.”
