Jenny Kahn, MA, LPCC, RPT™

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor who specializes in working with children and adolescents and providing parenting support to their caregivers. I am a registered play therapist and have 5+ years of experience with working with children to develop skills and emotionally regulate via play. Though I specialize with younger populations, I enjoy working with all ages.

I work primarily with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma responses, education difficulties and grief and loss. In sessions I utilize play therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help my clients access their potential to problem-solve, build relationships, and focus on their strengths. Through these modalities, my approach to therapy is relational, client-centered, and strengths-based. I believe that individuals grow and develop their identities through relationships, and strongly view the therapeutic relationship as key to healing. Outside of work, I enjoy doing puzzles, being outside, spending time with family, and playing with my cats (Luke & Oliver).
