Katie Nulicek, LICSW

Life can be unpredictable and disorienting, leaving us feeling vulnerable and unprotected. During challenging times, we may find it easy to resort to patterns that give a temporary sense of stability, but in the long term leave us feeling disconnected, depleted, lonely, or guarded. If you find yourself stuck in a pattern that keeps you from feeling satisfied with your life, therapy can help you learn more about yourself. Together, we can deepen insight into the sources of discomfort while also finding new, life-giving ways to cope.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my approach includes looking at how culture and systems impact mental health and well-being. In my 6 years of clinical practice, I have worked with people struggling with addiction, trauma, existential anxiety, ADHD, grief, ambiguous loss, and relationship concerns. I have post-graduate training in EMDR and EXRP.

I strive to create an approachable and non-judgmental space. If we work together, you can expect to feel listened to and understood with validation and empathy. I bring curiosity and humor to my work with folks, and I would feel honored to be a part of your journey."

Note: Katie is currently accepting in-person and tele-health clients through Spring Health EAP and private pay at this time.
