Kristy Schutt, LCSW

I believe in the power of therapy to instill hope and reconnection of the mind, body and spirit. My 30 years of professional mental health and social work experience has provided me with a rich perspective on the human journey and the nature of resilience.

I support adults in middle to late adulthood stages of life to regain control of life for good. Perhaps you are struggling with overwhelming stress, burnout, trauma or anxiety? Together, we will explore the areas of life you are most concerned with so you can gain clarity and relief to move forward.

My guiding principles within the therapeutic work are: Curiosity–helping you turn inward with a compassionate and curious lens; Integrity-acting with transparency; Importance of Human Relationships– valuing the deepest desire for you to be heard and seen; Inner Wisdom-each of us has what we need to heal. We will work collaboratively to achieve your goals, restore your confidence to face the changes ahead, and deepen self-discovery.

Training and therapy framework:

  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

  • Somatic Experiencing

  • Integrative- mind/body/spirit

  • Parts Work (IFS)
