Shukri Mohamed, LICSW
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and I enjoy working with adults who may be going through a difficult time or just need a space to talk things through. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life changes, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck.
I know starting therapy and opening up to someone new isn’t always easy. I try to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can be yourself and talk openly without feeling judged. I take the time to get to know you, understand what’s going on in your life, and figure out what you would like to work on.
My approach is supportive and practical. I use different therapy approaches, including CBT, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based therapy, depending on what works best for you. Sometimes that means learning new ways to cope with stress, looking at patterns that may be getting in your way, or simply having a space to process what you’re going through.
My goal is for you to feel heard and supported while we work together toward the changes that are important to you.
