Susie Schrader, M.Ed., MA, LPCC

Susie completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology at Bethel University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in geophysics curriculum design and instruction both from the University of Minnesota.

Ms. Schrader is trained in EMDR (eye movement, desensitization, and re-processing therapy), Sacred Art of Living and Dying (end of life and transition therapeutic interventions), and Trauma Focused  Sensorimotor Therapy.  With a background in science, she incorporates biology, physiology, and neurology into therapy. Ms. Schrader works with children, adolescents, adults and families around issues associated with trauma, anxiety, academic struggles, and emotional conflict. Being an adoptive mother of a child who is a neurodivergent processor has necessitated working extensively and successfully with state and county social services, schools and other supportive organizations.

Exploring and cultivating client strengths, unique creativity and curiosity are areas that Ms. Schrader focuses on in therapy. She believes that her clients are always doing the best they can with the skills they have and that her clients’ skills, understanding and ability to hold self-compassion can always deepen. She utilizes curiosity, creativity and flexibility in therapy for the enhancement of building success with clients of all ages. Ms. Schrader meets with clients individually, with families and facilitates therapeutic groups.

Ms. Schrader is a lover of nature. She embraces the seasonal changes in Minnesota. Gardening, boating, walking, fishing, entertaining, cooking, bee-keeping, raising chickens and reading are a few of the activities she enjoys. Susie is the mother of three children and a foster parent to many.

Susie is currently accepting new in person and tele-health clients through Spring Health EAP at this time and is in the process of credentialing with our in-network insurances.

Susie is an independent contractor with RWC and operates as a separate entity. While providing services through our practice, Susie retains full professional responsibility for clients and clinical work.
